Críticas al paradigma pos-político: en torno al consensualismo de Ulrich Beck y Anthony Giddens

This paper attempts to develop a critical reading of two authors registered within of the Theory of Reflexive Modernity, Anthony Giddens and Ulrich Beck, with particular emphasis on the political nature from both authors promote their theoretical propositions. The main objective of this paper is to highlight that the authors mentioned in their quest to eradicate the conflictual element of the political dimension, end up emptying it of its content more appropriate.The main theoretical lifeline that we use to guide our review consists of the theoretical contributions of the Belgian philosopher Chantal Mouffe.
