Abstract:

This article investigates the transition from classical liberalism to what is commonly called "neoliberalism" perspective developed by Michel Foucault in the years 1977-1979, whose investigations are crystallized in the last two seminars published in France in October 2004 [The Birth of Biopolitics]. It asks for the dimensions that Foucault built to analyze the transition from one concept to another from primarily an epistemological mutation: the transformation of the notion of wage income and material foundation of human capital theory and the construction of the notion of "self-entrepreneur". Also contradict a reading classic neoliberal phenomenon and a genealogical reading. Subsequently contextualizes the operation of control devices in the late 80's in Colombia in the first magazine that dedicates its pages to Executive Women, edited by Legis in the years 1987-1990.
