南海西部MIS12期以来表层海水古温度演化——来自浮游有孔虫群落及其壳体Mg/Ca比值的证据

Abstract:

?根据对南海西部越南岸外上升流区MD05-2901站位柱状样中浮游有孔虫群落定量统计及浮游有孔虫Globigerinoidesruber壳体微量元素分析,研究首次获得南海长时间尺度上Gs.ruberMg/Ca比值古温度资料,详细阐述了南海西部自MIS12期、约45万年来的表层海洋环境尤其是海水古温度(SST)变化历史.过去45万年来该海域SST变化范围为23.03~29.93℃,冰期/间冰期平均温差4.8℃,呈现非常明显的冰期/间冰期旋回性变化,而且SST在间冰期内有较大波动、变化幅度最高达5.6℃,高于冰期/间冰期平均变化幅度,但在冰期内其变化幅度则相对较小.频谱分析发现SST变化具有显著的112,40.7和23.6ka等周期.在终止期1,4和5,SST明显领先于氧同位素变化,进一步交叉频谱分析发现表层海水温度在偏心率、斜率及岁差周期上均领先于氧同位素变化.MD05-2901站位还是南海首次在长时间尺度上具有Mg/Ca,Uk’37及转换函数法等多种方法的古温度序列记录,在冰期/间冰期旋回尺度上不同方法估算的古温度间可相互对比,但Mg/Ca法能够更清楚地记录短期快速气候变化.与南海北部和南部Mg/Ca比值SST相比较,MD05-2901站位结果显示南海西部的SST平均比南海南部低0.6℃(MIS5期以来),而与北部表层海水温度相当、并没有体现其低纬度因素,在MIS5期的某些时段西部较北部温度低达2℃以上.这种变化显示了在间冰期南海西部可能有较强上升流存在,导致其表层海水温度偏低.
