%X livedoid vasculopathy is a rare, chronic disease that affects predominantly the lower limbs. the etiology of the disease is unknown, but histopathology shows thrombosis in the dermis without inflammatory changes in the vessel wall. it is manifested by petechial lesions and ulcerations that heal with scarring hyperpigmentation alternating with white areas. multiple treatments have been used so far, without total success.
