%X introduction: it is defined as cervical ectopic pregnant (cep) the implantation of the ovum fertilized at level of the internal cervical orifice (ico) or underneath it. objectives: to present a case of cervical ectopic pregnancy and its treatment strategy with the use of methotrexate. methods: a case of cervical ectopic pregnancy is described in a patient aged 30, nullipara with a 7 weeks pregnancy diagnosed in the emergency service of the "ram¨®n gonz¨¢lez coro" gynecology and obstetrics hospital by transvaginal echography. results: treatment began with parenteral and local methotrexate and then misoprostol by vaginal route was added as treatment adjuvant for a subsequent dilation and curettage of cervical channel. conclusion: the patient had a favorable evolution without another type of intervention.
