%X this article looks at freud from a lacanian point of view, in order to stress freud£¿s writings in both the moral and the drive aspects of the uperego. the article starts off with freud£¿s concept of the superego and then proceeds to the economic problem of masochism (1924). the result can then be seen in the text of 1924, where sade£¿s articulation of the drive is taken up in comparison with kant£¿s moral perspective.
