%0 Journal Article %T Estilos de liderazgo, cultura organizativa y eficacia: un estudio emp¨ªrico en peque£¿as y medianas empresas %A Rodr¨ªguez %A Emilio %J Revista de Ciencias Sociales %D 2010 %I Universidad del Zulia %X this study aims to determine whether or not leadership styles influence organizational culture. subsequently, it seeks to discover whether organizational culture impacts organizational performance, using a sample of 68 top executives from smes in chile. research results show that a relationship exists between leadership styles and the organizational culture; in this context, leadership style explains 46.2% of the innovative culture and 73.1% of the competitive culture. likewise, there is also a relationship between organizational culture and effectiveness, since, in the analyzed sample, 69.9% of the effectiveness is explained by culture. %K leadership styles %K organizational culture %K effectiveness %K small and medium enterprises. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1315-95182010000400006&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
