%X the paper reconstructs the connections between theoretical genesis and social genesis of some concepts and devices of french institutional analysis, understood as a truth, practice and subjectification regime, during the "years of winter" - an expression inspired in f¨¦lix guattari, that portrays the contemporary world. a particular emphasis is given to the concepts of implication and overimplication, as they are formulated by ren¨¦ lourau. the final statements outline problems regarding the institutional analysis in brazil, mainly in its relationships with the university. we suppose that the institutional analysis 'infolding' is necessarily related with a practice of 'getting free of itself'.
