%0 Journal Article %T Influencia de la finura de molido del carbonato de calcio en las propiedades f¨ªsico mec¨¢nicas y de durabilidad de los ladrillos de cer¨¢mica roja %A D¨ªaz %A Yosvany %A Betancourt %A Dania %A Martirena %A Fernando %J Revista ingenier¨ªa de construcci¨®n %D 2011 %I Pontificia Universidad Cat¨®lica de Chile %R 10.4067/S0718-50732011000300002 %X the paper exposes the results of a study, at macro structural level, on the influence of the calcite grinding process fineness on the red ceramic bricks following properties: compressive strenggth, density, absorption and durability, though the performance of physical - mechanical and accelerated aging tests, when this is added in an amount inferior to the 10% in relation with the clay weight. it is proved that when this admixture is ground until fineness between 72 \im and 150 [im, the above mentioned properties are not affected, however it doesn't occur this way when it is ground until a particle size of 29m. the carried out study, demonstrates that with this specific surface, the calcite addition affects the red ceramic bricks physical-mechanical properties as well as their durability %K ceramic bricks %K fluxing agents %K durability %K mechanical properties %K calcium carbonate. %U http://www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0718-50732011000300002&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
