%X this article collects the personal experiences of women with family relatives who were detained or dsappeared during the last military dictatorship (argentina, 1976-1983) and the women who survived the jails and/or underground centers of detention in the province of jujuy. through interviews done with depth and questionnaires, the authors intend: a) to visualize the memories of the juje£¿o repressive past from the perception of the women; b) to explore the psychosocial impact of violence and the strategies used in confronting them to face the pain and repression and c) to know their beliefs as to the measures of repair and justice approved since the beginning of democracy 'till the year in which this investigation was concluded (2008).
