%X this work intends to present an approximation between the concept and the nature of the right to a cultural identity for indigenous peoples and national minorities, and to subsequently look at the ways international regulations protect this right in its distinct modalities. finally, there is an intent to construct this right from the treaties of the inter-american system for the promotion and protection of human rights, with the purpose of contributing to the justiciability of at least a part of this right.
