%X almost 20 years later, a second survey of uruguayan youth is sponsored by the program infamilia of the social development ministry and the national youth institute. the data generated make it possible to know, from structural characteristics, the opinions of young people on different subjects. the same methodology was applied; therefore the study has the benefit of being able to compare over time; in this case, the analysis seeks to focus on the social participation of young uruguayans. data indicate trends that, in the long term, prove participatory behavior differentiated by sex, age groups and territorial belonging.
