%X these research notes are an inventory of the musical instruments of the aikew¨˘ra indians who occupy the soror¨® indigenous area in the southeast of the state of par¨˘. the first phase of the research involved establishing relationships between musical instruments myth and song in the rites found in sapurah¨˘i and karu¨˘ra. the second phase of this doctoral research will concentrate on aikew¨˘ra songs as set forth in the text.
