%X in this paper we propose an analysis on the striper-dance, which is studied through a field work, and this is thought out as likely a borderline joining together the practices of pornography; and this one is defined -for reasons of the work to bring about- as the selling of images and objects whose aim is sexual stimulation and prostitution, being this last one the selling or renting of the own body to another person for getting sexual satisfaction. the paper is aimed at looking into the particular imaginative corpus activated by female actors and male spectators along these shows, as well as to investigate the perception in terms of valuation which carries out and defines her social identity subjected to cultural patterns.
