So called globalization 2.0 has not only increased the interconnectedness of the global economy, but also shifted the economic power towards non-Western groups and emerging economies - not just in case of manufacturing, but particularly in case of consumption. Demand and supply centres are moving and often again are being located in the same locality. Growing emerging economies and their numerous populations are believed to become the future demand growth drivers. And thus, new sources of innovations - customers drives most innovations - coming from emerging markets to the developed ones.
