%X Kynotherapy is a form of contact therapy which employs multi-dimensional influence of animals on all human senses. Its main goal is to facilitate general rehabilitation and to stimulate physical, intellectual, emotional and social development [1]. Due its versatility it is widely used in therapeutic programmes not only in children and youths, but also in adults suffering from all kinds of dysfunctions. Even though, the positive influence of animals on the human body was recognised over two thousand years ago, the use of contact therapy is still controversial, and a practical approach is hindered by unadjusted sanitary regulations of the majority of therapeutic centres.
