In order to validate the equation in all ranges (smooth to rough); they introduced a correction factor based on the Nikuradse measurement. This correction factor is determined from the graphical method, which can be erroneous. Present work reanalyzes the Nikuradse measurements and gives an analytical formulation for the correction factor. %K Alluvial Channel %K Einstein-Barbarossa Equation %K Logarithmic Velocity Profile %K Hydraulic Rough Boundary %K Hydraulic Smooth Boundary %K Sediment Transport %U http://versita.metapress.com/content/85u7612188887482/?p=1ce50df99595402a8b42433046155f26&pi=3
