Si la morphologie des poissons est partiellement due ¨¤ l\'environnement, les divergences observ¨¦es entre ces populations g¨¦n¨¦tiquement diff¨¦renci¨¦es sugg¨¨rent que les syst¨¨mes g¨¦n¨¦tiques impliqu¨¦s dans ces ph¨¦notypes sont sous s¨¦lection dans les environnements concern¨¦s. De sorte que, les changements morphologiques adaptatifs relev¨¦s semblent traduire le d¨¦roulement de ph¨¦nom¨¨nes ¨¦volutifs au sein des populations de S. m. melanotheron. The comparative survey of morphometric variability of four natural populations of Sarotherodon melanotheron melanotheron reveals meaningful and important differentiations between them. 16 of the 24 characters analyzed are discriminative and permit by their combination to characterize the different populations studied. If fish morphology is partially due to environment, the divergences observed between these genetically differentiated populations suggest that the genetic systems that involve these phenotypes are under selection in the concerned environments. So adaptive morphological changes observed in these populations reveal probably the progress of evolutionary phenomena within the of S. m. melanotheron. %U http://www.ajol.info/index.php/scinat/article/view/42148
