%X The burden of corporate responsibilities be they functional or structural makes it imperative that rights and duties become streamlined as regards to a manager or a receiver and manager over the assets of the company. It is its import that necessitated a treatise on the key players as regards to the appointment of the receiver, whether shareholders can challenge the appointment of a receiver and the overall effects of the appointment of a receiver/manager on the role of directors, culminating in the end result of improving corporate governance.
