It is pathogenic for fish and human beings in which it can cause cutaneous nodular and ulcerative lesions, sometimes with sporotrichoid arrangement. We report three cases of sporotrichoid Mycobacterium marinum infections successfully treated with prolonged antibiotic therapy.
