The study suggested that application of microwave heating to produce the homogeneous porous Zn2SnO4 was achieved in a few minutes. The structure and morphology of the as-prepared combustion products were investigated by means of XRD and SEM. Fron the XRD results, confirmed the formation of face-centered cubic spinel structural and the SEM results indicated the spherical surface characteristic of the products. The as-prepared powders have larger band gap energy (3.5 eV) and are described here. %K Nanoparticles %K Zinc Stannate %K Microwave-Assisted Combustion Synthesis %K Optical Studies %U http://article.sapub.org/10.5923.j.nn.20130301.02.html
