%X Biomass potential is one of the very interesting energy sources in the nature. In the paper the estimation of biomass potential from the cattle husbandry was given. While calculating the resource all populations amount within the families living in the region were taken into account. Also the difference between the biomass quantity from cow and buffalo has been appreciated. At the same time the total biogas reserve obtained from the biomass collected in the personal husbandries was defined. Finally the ecological and economical aspects of biogas has been validated.
