%X The objective of this study was to add value to wax cane sugar replacing synthetic wax in the manufacture of lip gloss. Three formulations were prepared: F1 (Control); F2 (vaselinesugar cane wax obtained by simple extraction and the artificial strawberry flavor replaced by ¡°a a¨ª¡± natural powder) and F3 (vaselinesugar cane wax obtained by biotetanol extraction with strawberry flavoring food). The pH was 5.5 in both treatments. F2 had the highest humidity content (3.7%). The ash content was higher in F3 (1.6%); and the greater acceptability in the sensory analysis is the control formulation, requiring further treatments.
