%0 Journal Article %T Employment of Wax Sugarcane (Saccharum Officinarum) in Formulation of a Lip Gloss by Simple Extraction and Bioethanol %J American Journal of Biochemistry %@ 2163-3029 %D 2012 %I %R 10.5923/j.ajb.20120205.06 %X The objective of this study was to add value to wax cane sugar replacing synthetic wax in the manufacture of lip gloss. Three formulations were prepared: F1 (Control); F2 (vaselinesugar cane wax obtained by simple extraction and the artificial strawberry flavor replaced by ¡°a a¨ª¡± natural powder) and F3 (vaselinesugar cane wax obtained by biotetanol extraction with strawberry flavoring food). The pH was 5.5 in both treatments. F2 had the highest humidity content (3.7%).
