%X Abtract In this article, attempt has been made to explain debt exemption in three legal systems of Iranian, England and America. To do so, a brief description of the historical debt exemption has been also given in the Iranian legal system. Furthermore, a point of criticism has been made about the weak point of rules governing debt exemption and finally a solution has been given to remove the weak point and to prevent the violation of the people's rights.
