A sample of 620 students responded to a questionnaire previously developed and these same students were subject to urine samples. The examination of urinary sediment under the microscope revealed an overall prevalence of 22.90% of bladder bilharziasis with Schistosoma haematobium. The age group most heavily infested was that of 9-11 years (36.40%) and less affected than 6-8 years (14.70%). %U http://www.medwellonline.net/abstract/?doi=ijtmed.2011.19.24
