The results indicated that combining thyme oil with SB provided a more effective control on G. citri-aurantii than applying the thyme oil or SB alone. One thousand and six hundred μL·L~(-1) thyme oil combined with 0.5% SB showed the best effect, and growth of G. citri-aurantii was completely inhibited in the wound of Ponkan fruit. Four hundred μL·L~(-1) thyme oil combined with 1% SB decreased 60% sour rot disease, and had no obvious effects on contents of titratable acid, total soluble solids, VC and fruit firmness after 30 d. %K Na_2CO_3 %K thyme oil %K sodium carbonate %K sour rot %K Ponkan fruit %K fruit quality
