%X The complex resistivity method is one of IP methods. It was put forward in the 1970s. Many experts have studied the method, but the result of electromagnetic field responses has not been analyzed in detail. In this paper, we first simulated some responses of the complex resistivity models by integral equation, then analyzed the results. At last, we deuced and summarized that the electromagnetic response of 3D complex resistivity is produced by charge effect, electromagnetic effect and IP effect. The results will be useful for practical analysis of complex electromagnetic survey.
