%X The studied area is a sector of the Romanian Danube Valley where land use is predominantly agricultural. The area consists of two distinctrelief units: the alluvial plain and the terraces. The aim of this paper is to show ¨C based on Land Parcels Identification System and CORINE Land Cover data, as well as field investigations ¨C the way land use reflects the particularities of each relief unit analysed.
