The objective was thus to present an overall view of the screenings and systematic examinations provided for by legislative and regulatory measures. Methods: This study was conducted in three stages: the first involved identifying and listing the legislative and regulatory measures, the second, drawing up an index of data sheets, and the final stage, completing and validating the contents of the index with assistance from experts in each of the fields. Results: The data concerning the various screenings has been organised into a summary table presenting the different classifications possible. Conclusions: The data analysis sheds light on highly complex and dispersed screening measures in France. It seems essential, when giving thought to the organisation and establishment of screenings in France, to assess the benefits of each screening and to consider each one in relation to another. It is fundamental to have an overall view of the screenings integrating the various interpretations per population and illness and to identify the different operators of these screenings. %K sreening %K systematic examination %K periodic examination %K risk factor %K prevention %K secondary prevention %K public health %U http://www.ameli.fr/fileadmin/user_upload/documents/Etat_des_lieux_des_depistages_et_des_examens_systematiques.pdf
