V. %J Economics of Development %D 2012 %I Kharkiv National University of Economics %X The purpose of this paper is to summarize complex theoretical aspects of the optimization of industrial enterprise financial flows. To achieve this goal within this study must be solved the following objectives:to summarize the existing views of scientists on the content of the concept "optimization";to summarize the contemporary views of scientists on the content of the concept "financial flow of an industrial enterprise";to suggest and justify the author's vision of the concept "financial flow optimization of the industrial enterprise" based on the symbiosis of mentioned concepts. The scientific novelty of this study is to specify and justify the definition "optimization of industrial enterprise financial flows" as follows: optimization of financial flows of industrial enterprises is a process of consistent influence on the movement of financial resources to achieve the maximum level of profitability with minimization of financial flows input by establishing the necessary proportionality in the use of financial resources. The difference of presented specification is to consider the main tasks of optimization measures and to stress that the basis of optimization is the same process as a sequence of actions. Thus, it should be noted the necessity of summarizing and specifying the optimization criteria which must be used during the assessment of results as a direction for further research. %K optimization %K cash flow %K optimization %K industrial enterprise %K the criterion of optimality %U http://www.ed.ksue.edu.ua/ER/knt/ee121_61/e121mayb.pdf
