%X La reflexi車n sobre la traducci車n no se ha desarrollado de la misma manera en las grandes literaturas que en las literaturas minoritarias, como lo muestra el caso de la literatura vasca. Este art赤culo pretende mostrar, mediante el an芍lisis de fragmentos extra赤dos de los pr車logos de traducciones vascas de diferentes 谷pocas, que la teorizaci車n de la traducci車n se ha limitado durante siglos a la experiencia propia de cada traductor, y que el desarrollo de una reflexi車n filos車fica o hermen谷utica sobre la traducci車n no se inicia hasta finales de la 谷poca franquista. En este sentido, los trabajos del poeta y traductor Gabriel Aresti (1933-1975) dan lugar a una reflexi車n que cuestiona la diferencia entre traducci車n y creaci車n original, reflexi車n que ser芍 retomada en los a os de 1980 por Joseba Sarrionandia, quien, a trav谷s de procedimientos literarios innovadores, demostrar芍 que toda literatura es traducci車n, y que toda traducci車n es al mismo tiempo una creaci車n original.As the case of Basque literature shows, thinking on translation has not developed the same way in hegemonic literatures as in minority literatures. By means of an analysis of extracts from prefaces of several Basque translations, this article seeks to demonstrate that for centuries the theorization of translation has been limited to the translator＊s own experience, and that the development of a philosophical or hermeneutic thinking on translation did not begun until the end of the Franco era. In this respect, the works of Basque poet and translator Gabriel Aresti (1933-1975) introduce a reflection which calls into question the difference between translation and original creation, a reflection taken up again in the 1980s by Joseba Sarrionandia, who shows through innovative literary procedures that all literature is translation, and that all translation is at the same time an original creation.
