%X El sistema de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil vasca es un sistema tard赤o en cuanto a su incorporaci車n a las nuevas corrientes literarias europeas y d谷bil en la medida que todav赤a cuenta con un repertorio limitado, raz車n por la cual es campo abonado para el desarrollo toda clase de estrategias de traducci車n. El presente trabajo muestra las estrategias o  manipulaciones  m芍s notorias, tanto voluntarias como involuntarias, utilizadas por los traductores en su empe o por adaptar los textos a un nuevo p迆blico lector. The system of children's and young readers' literature in Basque is both a latecomer to new European literary trends and fledgling in that its repertory is still limited, which makes it an ideal testing ground for the development of all kinds of translation strategies. The present work discusses the most notorious strategies or "manipulations", whether voluntary or involuntary, used by translators in their attempt to adapt texts to a new reading public.
