%X El art赤culo analiza el papel desempe ado por la traducci車n en la configuraci車n de la literatura rusa a partir del siglo XVIII. En su entronque con las corrientes de las literaturas europeas la estrategia inicial fue el recurso a  transposiciones culturales , la apropiaci車n a trav谷s de la cultura dominante de la 谷poca 〞la francesa〞 de obras, temas y motivos de distintas procedencias. A partir del siglo XIX, la traducci車n en sentido estricto cobra m芍s importancia y contribuye de modo decisivo al Romanticismo ruso. En la primera mitad del siglo XX, este impulso se ver芍 continuado en otra gran etapa del desarrollo literario ruso, el Siglo de Plata, al que sus m芍ximos representantes contribuyeron de modo decisivo tambi谷n como traductores. The article analyzes the role played by translation in the configuration of Russian literature from the 18th century onward. Russian literature initially engaged with European literary currents by means of ※cultural transposition§ or appropriation via the dominant French culture of the age of works, themes and motifs of various origins. From the 19th century, translation in the strict sense of the word became more important, making a decisive contribution to Russian Romanticism. That trend continued in the first half of the 20th century in another major new stage in the development of Russian literature, the Silver Age, whose chief exponents also made a key contribution as translators.
