%X Este estudo teve como objetivo mostrar como uma proposta de letramento na Educa  o Infantil pode contribuir para a forma  o de um futuro leitor mais proficiente. Participaram desta pesquisa 40 alunos de uma escola p¨²blica municipal. Foi realizado um estudo quase-experimental, de delineamento experimental e aplicados dois question¨¢rios de compreens o textual, um com quest es abertas e outro com quest es objetivas. A an¨¢lise dos resultados foi feita atrav¨¦s da corre  o e quantifica  o das respostas dadas as perguntas dos question¨¢rios e, em seguida, foi utilizado o Teste t de Student para comparar os grupos que apresentavam ou n o uma proposta de letramento. Os resultados mostraram que existem diferen as significativas entre os dois grupos no que diz respeito ¨¤s perguntas que requerem a realiza  o de infer¨ºncias e, quanto aos instrumentos, que os alunos respondem de forma diferente as perguntas de infer¨ºncia e detalhes. Abstract This study aims to show how a proposed literacy in early childhood education can contribute to the formation of a future more proficient reader. The sample was 40 students of a public school. We used a quasi-experimental design and applied two questionnaires of comprehension, one with open questions and other objective questions. The analysis was done by correction and quantification of answers the questions of the questionnaires and then we used the Student t test to compare the groups that presented a proposal or no literacy. The results showed significant differences between the two groups with regard to the questions that require inferences and for the tools that students respond differently inference questions and details.
