%X As express es de interesse e pr芍ticas sexuais na velhice, que eram toleradas h芍 anos atr芍s com certo estranhamento, passam a ser consideradas nos 迆ltimos anos um dos elementos determinantes para a sa迆de f赤sica e emocional das pessoas em processo de envelhecimento. A psicossexualidade torna o humano diferente das outras esp谷cies; n o est芍 a servi o apenas da procria  o e preserva  o da esp谷cie, posto que tem como fator propulsor a realiza  o de desejo e a busca do prazer. O trabalho na cl赤nica psicanal赤tica tem possibilitado observar o valor das reminisc那ncias da vida sexual no processo de envelhecimento. Este artigo faz parte de uma investiga  o sobre os efeitos das reminisc那ncias na cl赤nica com idosos. Apresentamos um recorte cl赤nico no qual se evidenciam os efeitos emocionais que se produziram em uma mulher de 89 anos, quando as reminisc那ncias de sua hist車ria passada rompem algumas barreiras do recalcamento, desencadeando crises de ang迆stia. A partir de sess es de psican芍lise, conclui-se que o trabalho com as reminisc那ncias, em pacientes idosos, pode produzir uma reconstitui  o hist車rica, considerando que as lembran as nos velhos est o a servi o tamb谷m de uma revalida  o das experi那ncias vividas, rompendo o sofrimento de culpas passadas. Abstract The expressions of interest and sexual practices in the old age, which, until some years ago, were tolerate with a certain strangeness, have become a determinant element in the emotional and physical health of aging people. The Psycho-sexuality that makes the human being different from other species is not only working for procreation and preservation of the species, since it has as a propulsive factor the desire＊s realization and the seek for pleasure. The work in the psychoanalytic clinic shows the importance of the reminiscences of sexual life in the aging process. This paper is part of a research about the effects reminiscences in the elderly clinic. We present a clinical studying where the emotional effects produced on an 89 years old woman are clear as the reminiscences of her past life break some of the repression barriers, triggering anxiety crises. Based on psychoanaly therapy, it is conclued the work with elders＊ reminiscences can produce an historical reconstitution considering that in the elder people the reminiscences serve both to reconstruct the history and to validate the lived experiences breaking the suffering of past guilts.
