The sample of the study included a total of 81volunteers¡¯ male athletes; from 7 universities. The Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ; has beenemployed. Then the data obtained from questionnaire has been analyzed by a statistical perspective way of percentage frequencyand the t-test. The findings were tabulated, and found significant differences between the self-image assessment (t=-2.473:p<0,05) and health assessment (t=-2.880: p<0,05) identified in reference to the cigarette consumption by footballers. It hasbeen concluded that the number of footballers, who did not consume cigarettes and alcohol, was higher than the consumers.No meaningful difference was observed among the subjects that consume alcohol in terms of physical perceptions.
