%X The first decarboxylative Mannich reaction employing ¦Â-keto acids, catalyzed by cinchonine-derived bifunctional thiourea catalyst has been described. The desired ¦Â-amino ketones were obtained in excellent yields and with moderate to good enantioselectivities.
