%X Chloramine-T has been proved as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of substituted quinolines. In this method, 2-amino aryl ketones were smoothly reacted with ketones to afford the corresponding quinoline derivatives in very good yields. All the reactions were carried out at acetonitrile reflux.
