%X This study argues for skeptical interpretation of Socrates¡¯ last words in the dialogue Phaedo. Author analyses two passages, concerning health of the soul and concludes, that Plato¡¯s position towards the immortality of soul can not be evaluated as dogmatic. Socrates¡¯ last words remain therefore a puzzle with twofold meaning, connoting skeptic position.
