For this purpose, 51 of K. pneumoniae strain were isolated from the clinical patients in Kahramanmaras and their resistance condition to some antibiotics was determined. As a result, K. pneumoniae showedresistance to ticarcilline, penicillin, and ampicillin/sulbactam which are the member of Beta lactam antibiotics were found as 93.63%, 91.48% and 80.38%, respectively. On the other hand, K. pneumoniae showed the least resistance against the aminoglicoside antibiotics such as amikacin (52.89%), streptomycin (64.95%) and gentamicin (67.65%). The resistance to cephalosporins like cefotaxime (74.02%) and ceftazidime (74.26%) were also detected considerably high. %K Antibiotic resistance %K ¦Â-lactam %K Cephalosporin %K Aminoglicoside %K Klebsiella pneumoniae %U http://fbd.beun.edu.tr/index.php/zkufbd/article/view/78/97
