In this article I would like to outline a range of different ideological discourses on the topic, including some critical perspectives on the Lusophone world itself. I will develop a pragmatic argument in relation to the strategic benefits and disadvantages prompted by the potential inclusion of Galician within the Lusophone world. This argument will be mainly articulated from the perspective offered by ideological and postcolonial criticism as well as by cultural translation. %K Lusophony %K Galicia %K civilizational myths %K multi-identification %K translation of identity %U http://www.galicia21journal.org/A/pdf/galicia21_2_baltrusch.pdf
