There has been demonstrated that the pathology can be characterized as chronic multi-factor recurrent process with the signs of combined secondary immunodeficiency with the damage of T- and B-components of immunity, suppression of functional activity of NK-cells and monocytic and macrophage cells, as well as with the damage of immunoregulatory changes in immune system. In any of these cases herpes simplex virus has the chance to survive, mutate, and, finally, be latent. %K Chronic recurrent herpetic stomatitis %K Herpes simplex virus %K Herpes virus infection %U http://www.stm-journal.ru/_resources/item/819/fields/File/stm_3_2012_s24_p121_125.pdf
