The concentration of chromium was found to be 18.57-.170.12 ppm in residue and 15.20-185.50 ppm in filtrate of korangi industrial effluent in 2011. The conductance varies from 6.7 to 175 S/m which shows the high concentration of ionic species. The pH of samples was found to be mostly alkaline (7.0-8.9) except in T1 of January. %K tanneries effluents %K Chromium (VI) and (III) potential %K conductance %K pH %U https://www.pjchm.com/images/pdf/3_1_Paper_5.pdf
