%0 Journal Article %T Outdoor Localization System Using RSSI Measurement of Wireless Sensor Network %A Oguejiofor O.S %A Okorogu V.N %A Adewale Abe %A Osuesu B.O %J International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering %D 2013 %I IJITEE %X This paper present a system that utilizes RSSI based trilateration approach to locate the position of blind nodes (nodes that are not aware of there positioning in the network) amongst other nodes in the network. The system automatically estimates the distance between sensor nodes by measuring the RSSI (received signal strength indicator) at an appropriate number of sensor nodes. Through experiments, we clarified the validity of our data collection and position estimation techniques.
