%X ¡ª this paper explains the role and impact of IT at different stages of a firm¡¯s evolution in the terms if its size and growth performance. The capability of IT to assist entrepreneurs in overcoming business challenges of the forthcoming period. The overall picture relating to the use of IT is classified into two parts: one is hardware use (PCs, Laptops and Workstations) and the other is software use (E-mails, and web access). As per this paper, the concentration is on growth firms and motivation for IT investment which leads to increase the prospects of ¡®better Customer management¡¯, ¡®better management of business processes¡¯ and ¡®better reporting¡¯. For this, the paper will provide the information related to those electronic media which are beneficial to business enterprises and playing a vital role for every business function to make entrepreneurs competitive with some future trends.
