%X he purpose of this paper is to present the results of an investigation referred to some agreements and disagreements on the concept of ¡®nature of science¡¯ (known internationally with the acronym NOS) that appear between specialists in the teaching of natural sciences; specifically, we focus on those from Latin America. To do this we considered the aca- demic production in the form of journal articles, released between 2000 and 2009, we seek articles that develop some kind of substantive relation- ship with the research NOS. The main finding of this study is that, today, the NOS is a field of reflection and didactic innovation clearly recogniz- able to researchers / as Ibero-American science education.
