Our goal was to design an expert system which could be useful for physiciansto produce more accurate prescriptions for polyuria patients. In our paper, we first studiedthe logical rules that were needed to produce a prescription for polyuria patients andrepresented them in an antecedent/consequent model of rules that were capable of beingused in an expert system. Afterwards we used a powerful expert system tool, CLIPS, toimplement our proposed expert system and discussed parts and fundamentals of our expertsystem that were designed based on the studied rules. Since our expert system produced itsprescription based on strict medical science instructions, our goal was to make the systembe able to cooperate with physicians¡¯ experiences on polyuria patients.
