%X Introducci車n: El asma es la enfermedad cr車nica m芍s prevalente en la poblaci車n infantil y se ha relacionado con aspectos psicol車gicos involucrados en su evoluci車n. Objetivo: Comprender el tipo de patrones relacionales observables en la familia de ni os con esta enfermedad. M谷todo: An芍lisis cualitativo mediante muestreo intencional, en una poblaci車n de ni os entre cuatro y quince a os con asma y otra poblaci車n mixta. Resultados y conclusiones: El an芍lisis muestra familias con l赤mites difusos entre sus miembros, tendencia al amalgamamiento, con altos 赤ndices de ansiedad, presencia de conflictos de pareja y parento-filiales. Introduction: Asthma is the most prevalent chronic illness in children and has been related to psychological aspects involved in its evolution. Objective: To understand the types of relational patterns observed in families of children with this illness. Method: Qualitative analysis through intentional sample of children between the ages of 4 to 15 years with asthma and other mixed populations. Results and Conclusions: The analysis shows families with diffuse limits between its members, tendency towards amalgamation, high levels of anxiety, and the presence of parental and parental-offspring conflicts.
