Crisis in a life path: a specific temporality ? The term of crisis, usually used, rarely defined, is often associated with all the social and biographic situations that cause suffering. The extension of this concept does harm to its actual meaning. In many analyses of life paths, crisis is attached to transition, crossings or crossroads, but it has no steady meaning. From an example of a life crisis that followed an event (a loss of employment), we approach the crisis from the point of view of its demarcation (the crisis as a limited sequence within a global process, namely a professional transition), of its area (the spheres of life involved) and of its contents (subjective aspects). The crisis is considered from a specific temporality, the temporality of commitment and subjective involvement. From this point of view, it is defined as a "moratorium of commitment", located between two phases of commitment. %K trajectory %K event %K crisis %K biography %K course %K process %K temporal regime %K commitment %K engagement %K processus %K trajectoire %K crise %K biographie %K parcours %K ¨¦preuve %K r¨¦gime temporel %U http://temporalites.revues.org/1472
