The results show that although students apply basic strategies well, they use a trial-and-error approach, they give-up when faced with difficulties and have deficiencies in metacognitive abilities, which are signals that must be taken into account. The conclusions suggest that greater attention should be given to the students¡¯ needs, putting more emphasis on reasoning and understanding, so that students can improve their self-regulated learning. %K problem solving %K self-regulated learning %K strategies %U http://dppd.ubbcluj.ro/adn/article_4_1_3.pdf
